The context
A clinical lab has many processes patients never see: patient care, sample collection, the lab itself, billing, commercial and regulatory work. When they’re scattered, everything is slower and more error-prone.
Medvana brings them together so the lab runs more efficiently and patients feel the difference.
How I started
A close friend was founding Medvana and got me into programming: he paid for a few courses and brought me onto the team. I collaborated on the first module, patient care, and we shipped it to production.
What I built
Then I built several modules on my own: billing, commercial management and regulatory management. I also collaborated on the platform’s core lab module.
What I took away
It’s where I learned to build software for real: with real users, in production and in an industry where mistakes matter.
